Here is my entry for Pepy's new photo event, Let's Have Brunch. I took this photo just before my lunch on Saturday... no fussy styling at all since my hubby and I were in a hurry.

There was no complicated technique to prepare the sandwich. Just go to your local supermarket or deli to get the fillings. I used my bread press toaster to toast the bun, cheese and bacon.

The sandwich comprises of toasted rye bun, smoked Virginia ham, smoked turkey breast, slices of bacon and some vegetables topped with cheese and ranch dressing. It was just delicious and fresh!!!

for everyone

Aku sih belum pernah nyoba.

Ini hasil percobaan kedua dengan si tenda. Masih perlu beli lampu lagi nih.

15.6.07 - Up-date from the experiences using the light tent:
Pros:
- It is quite easy to manipulate the lighting for the object but need to know where to place the lights and the reflector to give to optimum shadows.
- The size of the tent is just nice for the size of the food objects that I currently photographed.

Cons:
- I need to modify joints for the legs so that it won't split or move when I adjusted the front lights. The front lights are clamped to the legs.
- The size is slightly too big for the small objects like for the jewelleries. I will use the light tent from the carton box with tracing paper that I have for smaller objects. I can have the top part of the box slightly openned too.
- The cloth needs to be tightened as it droops easily when I adjusted the backdrop etc.

This is my new project in photography. I copied the design from http://www.pbase.com/wlhuber/light_box_light_tent. The frame was made from PVC pipes that are supposed to be used for his fish tank. Wife is first!!! *Just kidding* It's just because his tank has some leakages waiting for repair so that he can wait to assemble the pipes.

The project is still quarter way done as I need to get the light bulb for the small lamp and the switch board. At the moment, I can only turn on 1 light hehehhehe

I will update you with more stuffs from my photography exercise.

It was a very long drive and neck stiffening to go to Buchan but it was a nice trip. I went there with my husband, my ex-school friend (Dwi) and my ex-uni friend's family (Anna n the family). We left from Dandenong area at 6 am and reached home at 9 pm.

The photos in the cave were taken with ISO 1600, external flash and at the highest f stop as much as I could. I wish I could bring in my tripod. The rules did not allow tripod, backpack or big stuff to be brought into the cave in case if those break the million year old stones.
