My lemon meyer tree has finally produced a lot of fruits and really has ripe fruits. Last year, there were quite a lot of buds but at the end, all of them fell of the branches. I guess the tree was not ready to bear the fruits. It's only a few months ago, there was hale and it scarred the skin of the lemons. Otherwise, I should have nice plum lemons. I still have to leave some on the tree as the skin is still slightly green.
Anyway, I have looked for some recipes using lemons, from sweets to savoury dishes. Some of the recipes that interest me are from Joy of Baking and the Morrocan cook books. There are some suggestions that this type of lemons is good for Morrocan style preserved lemons as the skin is thinner than the other lemons.
Let's see how it goes. My laziness may come back and I will not do anything with those lemons.
